Incidental music for Virginius by Emile E. Mori [manuscript], 19th or 20th century.

Set of manuscript orchestral parts and part-books containing music for Virginius. Two groups of parts: one consisting of numbered parts containing music for the overture (2-12) and the other consisting of part-books with other incidental music (14-24). The latter group contains 38 numbered items, including curtain tunes, marches, and entr'acte music. A list of parts appears on the title page of the first violin part-book of the second group. (1) and (13) are covers for the two sets of parts; (25) and (26) are boards advertising Joseph S. Haworth's and Chas. B. Hanford's Grand Shakespearean Festival at the Park Theatre (boards probably used as covers for parts); (27) consists of blank leaves of staff paper.

22 ms. parts ; 35 x 27 cm to 36 x 28 cm.
